Courses taught at the CEA CAPA Buenos Aires Center have been designed in conjunction with, and approved by, the University of New Haven (UNH). In addition, faculty appointments have been approved by UNH. After the successful completion of a session at the CEA CAPA Buenos Aires Center, you will receive credit for your work from UNH. Located in Connecticut, the University of New Haven is a student-focused, comprehensive university that’s fully accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). Instructors at the CEA CAPA Buenos Aires Center carefully evaluate students’ work and progress throughout the academic session. When calculating grades, instructors consider written and oral exercises, homework assignments, attendance, classroom participation, and exam performance.

Founded in 1959, the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) was one of the first private universities created in Argentina. ITBA’s academic focus is dedicated to the teaching of interdisciplinary engineering fields and research. ITBA is a member of the prestigious Global Education Engineering Exchange (GE3).
Their mission
is to be a university committed to the development of the country and region by training and developing professionals in the areas of engineering, technology and management who are able to respond to the needs of society and technological advances.
ITBA enrolls approximately 1,650 students annually.
The main building is located in the trendy area of Puerto Madero, which represents the latest architectural trends in Buenos Aires. The university features modern facilities, computer labs,
libraries, and cultural and athletic activities to complement academics.

Students receive a transcript from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) upon successful completion of the program. Since its founding in 1964, the Universidad de Belgrano (UB) has grown into one of Argentina's leading higher education institutions. This private university offers a range of courses to a culturally diverse population of more than 14,500 students. More than 900 international students participate in exchange programs through the Universidad de Belgrano each year.
Located in a distinguished residential area of the city of Buenos Aires, UB features modern facilities, computer labs, libraries, and cultural, artistic and athletic activities to complement academics.
UB faculty instruct through the Programa de Estudios Argentinos y Latinoamericanos and other UB departments. Universidad de Belgrano utilizes a 45-minute contact hour whereas the United States higher education system utilizes a 50-minute contact hour. All Universidad de Belgrano courses represent the 45 contact hour amount and an estimated US credit calculation based on the contact hours. Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.

All CEA CAPA students studying in Buenos Aires have the option of living in apartments while abroad. Generally located in downtown Palermo or Belgrano, or Recoleta/Barrio Norte neighborhoods these apartments cater to independent, do-it-yourself students who want to experience Buenos Aires as a local apartment-dweller would. Apartments vary in age, décor and size, from studio apartments to two bedrooms. So whip up some homemade empanadas in your fully equipped kitchen, crack open your window, and watch the Argentine world unfold before your eyes.

Experience Buenos Aires’ vibrant culture while living in a homestay. CEA CAPA homestays usually have one host mom - or a couple - who loves to have international students around. For the students who want to live life abroad in a local and international environment - usually with other students - the homestay is great, because it can give you the locals' insight into the city.

Buenos Aires study abroad programs offer two housing options for students depending on their preferences.
